When you become a Le Lieu du Design “Subscriber” you will receive priority support for your professional activities. You will benefit from specific, up-to-date information regarding all aspects of design in the Paris region, France, and abroad.
Directly accessible on the Internet site, the “Subscriber” area includes all services designed for you to:
- Receive a priority, personal interview with Le Lieu du Design’s Business-Designer Project Manager
- Receive a priority, personal interview with an INPI (French national industrial property institute) expert during the office hours organized once a month at Le Lieu du Design
- Access a weekly selection of invitations to tender directly related to design, announcements will also be sent directly to your e-mail address for those Subscribers who so desire.
- Access all technology, economy, sociology, and materials watch content of interest to both designers and businesses:
The technology watch is updated each month with a new selection of 15 innovative materials with their datasheets provided by the matériO materials resource center as well as a monthly study, produced in association with the CFI (Paris regional innovation center) on varied themes.
The economy watch offers 4 in-depth studies each year: 2 thematic studies and 2 geographic studies to serve as a tool for reflection as well as prospection. A series of significant events (process innovations, mobility, new standards and regulations, etc) regularly updated, is also part of the information available and will provide targeted qualitative access to useful decision-making data.
The sociology watch each month offers a double page 15-criteria analysis based on INSEE data regarding developments in household consumption, with graphs and commentaries, and possible impacts on design. In addition, every three months an in-depth study will be placed online regarding emerging consumer behaviors and their impact on design. - Access to our Awards and Competitions heading: more than fifty competitions for designers, design agencies, and businesses have been listed. Each competition has a detailed datasheet with the relevant audience, submission dates, full description, amount and type of reward, items to be provided, direct contacts with organizers.
