design

What is design? In English it means “design,” “construction,” “drawing,” as well as “idea,” “project,” “plan,” or even “divine providence. And in general, this concept has many definitions.

Here are just a few of them:

Design is a special kind of activity, which gives objects (in addition to their main purpose) beauty and increased functionality, ergonomics and a pronounced social orientation.

Design is a way of identifying and presenting the essence of the product that is created and sold.

Design is a creative work whose purpose is to define the formal qualities of objects produced by industry.

Design is the “common sense” of the chaotic objective world, the theory and practice of its harmony.

Design is the ability to design with limited resources.

Design is a creative activity aimed at forming a harmonious thematic environment that best meets the material and spiritual needs of man.

Design is to increase the aesthetic value of technical objects and objects.

Design is the creation of beautiful and useful household objects.

Design is the result of the work of designing an object or object (a car, a house, a book).

Design is the presence of the human factor in engineering design.

Design is a series of individual or group actions in the artistic design of various products.

All of these and many other definitions reflect the meaning of the concept. However, none of them is the most complete and correct. Such a definition simply does not exist, because everyone has their own vision of the concept.
